Hi I’m Kathleen! 

I grew up on the Eastside of Indianapolis. I met my husband Paul at Marian University. I worked for 9 years as a Registered Nurse, but my heart always wanted to be home with my children.  Five years ago, it was time to leave nursing and focus on my vocation as a wife and mother. I’m now a mom of 5 wonderful children on earth and 7 little saints in Heaven.

I love baking, painting, rearranging furniture, spending time on my front porch swing, coffee and reading books about the Saints!

My devotion to the rosary began in 2015 when I lost my baby Matthias.  This simple prayer brought me peace in my suffering and deepened my relationship to Jesus through Mary.  After we lost our son Joseph in 2023, I felt a strong desire to implement the family rosary every night at bedtime.  What a blessing this has been for us!

I am so excited to take over the mission of Small Things Great Love! Allison has been a family friend for over 10 years.  I’ve been using her rosaries before her business even began.  I was also a lucky recipient of her original knotted rosaries included in The Little Catholic Box!  When I learned Allison was ready to pass her business on, I felt I was being called to keep the mission alive.  I believe my time at the National Eucharistic Congress and many hours in prayer during Adoration has led me to this ministry. My hope and prayer is to spread a love and devotion to the rosary and to encourage more families to pray together.

I am so blessed to have this opportunity.  I’m thankful to my husband and children for their support in this new adventure. A special thank you to Allison, the founder of Small Things Great Love, for your patience and joy while teaching me everything you know!
